Celebrate food, art, and community in this one-of-a-kind Valentine’s-week cooking experience on February 13th, featuring talented local businesses.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with an exclusive private tour of the Hudson Art Gallery, setting a creative and inspiring tone.
6:00 PM, enjoy a thoughtfully curated wine tasting led by sommelier Nichole Frazer of Black Rooster Bistro, with pairings selected to beautifully complement the flavors of the evening’s menu. The featured wines will also be available for purcxhase, so you can take your favorites home.
Following the tasting, join Chef Goy for a hands-on surf & turf Thai-inspired cooking class that is approachable, interactive, and fun—whether you come alone, with a friend, or ready to make new connections.
In the kitchen, you’ll prepare:
Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp – a vibrant Thai classic combining sweet pineapple, tender shrimp, aromatic jasmine rice, and layers of savory, sweet, and lightly spiced flavors. You’ll learn proper stir-fry techniques, balancing seasoning, and how to build depth with fresh ingredients.
Grilled Beef with Thai Spicy Dipping Sauce – perfectly grilled beef paired with a bold, tangy, and spicy dipping sauce made with fresh herbs, citrus, and chilies. Chef Goy will demonstrate grilling tips and how to achieve the signature Thai balance of heat, acid, and umami.
The evening concludes with a Thai-inspired mango dessert, specially created by Charles Frocke, owner of St. Croix Baking Company, offering a refreshing and elegant finish to the meal.
An unforgettable evening of art, wine, and bold Thai flavors—celebrating collaboration and the best of our local culinary scene.
