HUDSON ART GALLERY ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING
New Gallery in Downtown Hudson invites the Community to “Find Yourself in Art"

Hudson Art Gallery is proud to announce its Grand Opening on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Located on 2nd Street in downtown Hudson with a high-visibility storefront, the new gallery seeks to build connections between artists, collectors, designers, businesses, and community organizations in the St. Croix River Valley. Hudson Art Gallery is an independent gallery with a mission, i.e., to support the vibrant arts culture in the St. Croix River Valley.

The space highlights regional artists and features all new work every 8 weeks. All proceeds from sales, net of expenses, are donated for the benefit of general programming at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson.

Tom Adamson, the Gallery Owner, describes the inspiration behind the business model: “We wanted to create a space that not only empowers artists to reach new audiences, but also ensures the ongoing growth of The Phipps Center for the Arts. It’s about storytelling – and making meaningful connections – all while benefitting The Phipps.”

Brianna Seipel, Gallery Manager, shares her enthusiasm about the venture: “I’m thrilled to be working in a retail gallery environment that supports the work of an amazing organization like The Phipps. As an artist and arts administrator, I’ve seen firsthand the power of the arts to build community and connection. The arts bring us together – and we hope this new gallery space will do just that.”

The Hudson Art Gallery Grand Opening features the work of regional artists Ingrid Restemayer and Dean Trisko. The first exhibit, entitled “Seeking Order,” explores the joy of the creative process through diverse materials including acrylic and watercolor paint, printmaking, embroidery, and fiber art.

Hudson Art Gallery is located at 516 2nd Street, Suite 102, and is open Fridays and Saturdays from 12-7pm, Sundays from 12-4pm, and weekdays by appointment. Visit the virtual gallery at www.artgalleryhudson.com.
