International Woman’s Day has been celebrated since 1911. Today a global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world.
“A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.” - IWD Website
Join us as we put a local twist on celebrating International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hear from our local panel of women as they share their challenges and reflections from 2020 and what they learned to prepare them for 2021. Join the conversation about what you have gone through and how that has impacted your plans for 2021.
