Cindy Metzger - Local Author Spotlight

Description

Join us at Chapter2 Books Sunday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 for our Local Author Spotlight! These casual afternoons are a great way to connect with new and established authors working right in our communities. We welcome them to share their work, talk about their creative process, and get to know YOU.

On Sunday, October 12 , we'll welcome Hudson author Cindy Metzger for a special storytime, and get to know her series of picture books, Rocket Gets a Home, Rocket Goes to School, and Rocket Goes to the Beach. Cindy's books are available for purchase at Chapter2 Books.

Creating gentle, values-driven stories inspired by dogs, love, and belonging became a way to honor Cindy's late Labrador, Rocket. In her books, she explores a love of storytelling and shares the gentle lessons Rocket lived so naturally. These heartfelt, rhyming stories are meant to be shared between children and the adults who read with them. Cindy lives in the Midwest and enjoys the outdoors and all it offers.

More about Cindy and Rocket can be found at https://www.cindymetzger.com/.
