Phipps Community Day

Come down to the Phipps Center for the Arts and see what we are all about at this open house event! We will have guided tours, mini-performances, drop-in art making and classes, and chances to win season tickets, performance tickets, and more. PLUS, we are announcing our 2025-2026 theater season.

Ever wanted a backstage tour of the Black Box theater? Are you interested in how the Mighty Wurlitzer organ works or what kind of tools are in the scene shop? How about the Phipps’ expansive costume collection? Experience all these things and so much more as we throw open our doors and welcome the community into the Phipps! This amazingly fun (and free) annual open house is full of mini-performances, guided tours, drop-in activities, games and raffle prizes. We’re here, and this is what we’re doing: it’s Phipps Community Day!
