About Us
Rise is a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1971. Our mission is to unlock potential and open doors to success for people with disabilities or other challenges through creative solutions and customized support. We envision a progressive, supportive, and collaborative environment that fosters meaningful growth and provides opportunities to live a life filled with purpose.
We provide employment, life enrichment, mental health, and housing services across Minnesota and in Western Wisconsin. Rise serves a variety of people with barriers to full community inclusion including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people with mental illness, people with brain injuries, people who are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing, those with criminal backgrounds and many others.
