Chalmer Davee Library to host reading of U.S. Constitution Sept. 23
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Chalmer Davee Library will host a live reading of the U.S. Constitution on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 2-4 p.m. at the library, located at 330 E. Cascade Ave. The event is free and open to the public. Community members, students, faculty and staff are invited to attend and participate in the reading. Those interested in reading a section of the Constitution may sign up in advance. Individuals are also welcome to attend and simply listen. Free pocket-sized copies
Falcon Futures: UW-River Falls' Jena Hanson is Minnesota's Princess Kay of the Milky Way
University of Wisconsin-River Falls student Jena Hanson of Owatonna, Minn., has been named Minnesota's 73rd Princess Kay of the Milky Way, the state's official diary ambassador. Hanson, a junior dairy science major, will spend the next year representing Minnesota's dairy farmers through public appearances, educational outreach and advocacy efforts across the state.
